Stefflon Don, the British rapper, has come through with her latest single titled ‘What’s Poppin’.
The song was released on streaming platforms on Friday.
In ‘What’s Poppin’, the rapper enlists the vocal dexterity of BNXN, the Nigerian singer formerly known as Buju.
She also accompanied the song with a music video shot by Lux London.
“Are you single wait are you just joking?/ We should just go out, we should blow something/ Like what’s poppin?/ Just like uh what’s poppin/ I like you what’s poppin/ What’s good what’s poppin,” they sing.
“Yes I’m single but I’m not joking/ Cos I’m scared you’ll go leave me broken/ Even when I hesitate, stuck in my ways/ Would you let me be or you’ll be controlling/ I say that we should chit chat and kick back/ Feel brand new, blow some smoke till I lose my senses.”
The British rapper has continued to enjoy fame since she released ‘Real Ting’, her debut mixtape, in 2016.
She became very popular in 2017 after the release of ‘Hurtin Me’, the hit single featuring French Montana.
Stefflon was once in a relationship with Burna Boy.
On the other hand, BNXN – born Daniel Benson — is a highly talented Afro-fusion vocalist, songwriter, and pianist.
The singer won the ‘Next Rated’ category at The Headies 2022.
