Reekado Banks, the Nigerian singer, has come through with a new single titled ‘Fakosi’.

The singer released the track on streaming platforms on Wednesday.

In ‘Fakosi’, Banks exudes his confidence, love for fun, and carefree vibes.

“Duru Mo mi/Omo duru Mo mi tonight/Je ka do something tonight/Omo lomo yen/Ton jo disco/O Fakosi, o Fendi/Mi o wo kito/Omo gan lomo yen/Mo de je se yen/O Fakosi, O wo Fendi/Mi o wo Kito/” he sings.

“Won ran ju wan ran Ju/Nibo Lori wa Nibo lo ti wa/Won a Dele ma gbo, won a Dele ma gba/Guarantee Guarantee/Beautiful, o tun shano/Mmm mmm/Bad belle enemies, will not let me drink water/”

Born Ayodeji Solomon, Banks signed with Mavin Records in 2014.

The music star would, however, exit the Don Jazzy-owned label four years later.

He went by the stage name Spicy before his record deal with Mavin Records.

The singer has continued to enjoy fame while working with other prominent singers.

Banks was declared Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2014. He also won the ‘Next Rated’ award at The Headies 2015.

His first studio album, ‘Spotlight’ was released on September 1, 2016.

In 2022, Reekado said he will switch careers from music to being a chef once he turns 38.
