Reekado Banks, the Nigerian singer, says he will switch careers from music to being a chef once he turns 38.

The music star spoke of switching careers in a recent Twitter post.

“Switching careers completely when I’m 38. I’m going to become a chef,” the singer’s tweet read.

Reekado Banks, whose real name is Ayoleyi Solomon, had signed with Mavin Records in 2014.

However, the 28-year-old music star would exit the Don Jazzy-owned label four years later.

Reekado has continued to enjoy fame while working with other prominent hitmakers.

He went by the stage name Spicy prior to his record deal with Mavin Records.

Reekado Banks was declared Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2014.

He won the highly coveted ‘Next Rated’ award at The Headies 2015.

His first studio album ‘Spotlight’ was released on September 1, 2016.

Reekado’s declaration comes months after Olamide, the rapper, unveiled what he said might be his last album.
