Tobechukwu Okoh, the Nigerian singer better known as Peruzzi, has come through with his highly anticipated Extended Play (EP) titled ‘Hypertension / Things I Need’.

The 32-year-old songwriter announced the release of the project via his social media pages on Friday.

The body of work includes two tracks titled ‘Hypertension’ and ‘Things I Need’.

In ‘Hypertension’, the musician talks about how he gets mesmerised by his partner’s physical attributes.

Peruzzi also speaks about unrequited love in ‘Things I Need’.

“As I don wait you tire/ I don turn patient/ My doctor said I need your love, you quick quick/ And to be frank like Sinatra, girl you fly me to the moon/ Is it a crime?, No it is not,” he is heard singing.

Peruzzi started to gain prominence after he was signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in November 2017.

He has established himself as a household name in the music industry since then.

He has also collaborated with a number of renowned individuals in the country’s music scene — including 2Baba
