Ladipoe, the Mavin Records artiste, has come through with ‘Big Energy’, his first single in 2022.

The musician announced the release of the project via his social media handles on Friday.

“My first single of the year is an anthem. ‘Big Energy’ prod by @killertunes_tii out right now!” he wrote in an Instagram post.

In the less than four-minute song, the rapper croons about bringing ‘big energy’ to his game and the music landscape.

He also called on his fans and music lovers to watch out for his exploits.

“When you’re big you’re big abeg I know you can tell from the confidence alone. Anywhere I sit you know that’s already a throne,” he sings.

“Many have the number but I only pick the. When’s the last time I missed my guy forget. Everybody talks but be careful with your tone phone.”

In 2017, Ladipoe became the first rapper to be signed to Mavin Records, a music label founded by Don Jazzy.

He has since then continued to pull the weight of fame in the music scene with songs like ‘Feel Alright’ and ‘Feeling.’

The musician has two albums to his name. He was also nominated for the ‘Best International Flow’ category at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards where he lost to Little Simz, the British rapper.

In April, Ladipoe boasted that he’s Nigeria’s best chance of a rapper winning a Grammy.
