Martins Okwun, the Nigerian singer better known as J. Martins, has put out a new extended play (EP) titled ‘Love me More’.

The singer announced the release of the five-track project via his social media pages on Friday.

Tracks on the body of work include ‘Onye Malu’, ‘Gimme Lov’, ‘Ifunanya’, ‘Ikwusigo (remix)’ and ‘I like (Amapiano)’.

In the project, J. Martins enlists the help of DJ Arafat and Innoss’B.

In ‘Ifunanya’, J. Martins and DJ Arafat express their desire for a certain lady called “Monica”.

‘Gimme Lov’ sees the singer professing his love for a perceived lover while requesting her to reciprocate the gesture.

“Looking down the window/ Feeling super fly/ Thinking about you/ E dey help me cool my temper/ I feel your warm embrace/ You know say me i don dey craze ohh/ Pour me holy water/ Me i dey for your love ohh/ Come cool it down on me/ Me i go like to chop your banku/ Omalicha nwa/ Cause I’m falling for you/ Give me this your love,” the lyrics read.

J. Martins has established himself as a popular name in the Nigerian music landscape with several chart-topping projects. He has also won a plethora of awards.

The musician is best known for some of his hit songs such as ‘Oyoyo’, ‘Jupa’, and ‘Good Or Bad’.
