Adekunle Gold, the Nigerian singer, has put out the remix for ‘5 Star’, his hit single, featuring Rick Ross, the American rapper.

The ‘Okay’ crooner announced the release of the song via his social media pages on Friday.

Adekunle Gold had earlier teased fans with a snippet of the song while announcing the collaboration.

“Caught off in the moment, you deserve the best/ Heart made in diamonds, kisses on your neck/ You deserve the better swear your time come/ And I’ma get you every watch and ’til my time up (Boss!)/ Big boss never had to tick tock/ But I got bad chicks in my inbox/ Top down Rolls Royce wise a ski mask/ Throwing at the money in the window when I see past,” Rick Ross raps.

In the song, the Afropop singer also recounts his struggles with sickle cell disease, and the tribulations he endured while chasing his music career.

Adekunle Gold has continued to receive positive reception from music lovers since he released ‘Sade’ in 2015.

The singer has also won numerous awards and recognition.

He has four albums to his credit namely: ‘Gold’ (2016), ‘About 30’ (2018), ‘Afropop’ (2020), and ‘Catch Me If You Can’ (2022).
