Nigerian comedian Josh2funny left the judges and audience of America’s Got Talent (AGT) in awe with his uproarious goofball acts.

On episode 10 of AGT, the comedian delivered three extremely unusual jokes when he took to the stage — on three occasions — for the “fastest rapper in the world,” the “fastest reader in the world,” and the “best magician in the world” performances.

He first appeared as a fast reader, dramatically placing three books in front of him and comically pretending to read them at lightning speed.

Although Josh2funny — born Josh Alfred — did not progress to the next round, his unconventional approach bewildered the judges and audience.

His outing on AGT sparked a wave of mixed reactions among Nigerians on social media. While some users hailed him for entertaining the show’s audience, others tackled him for the goofball acts.

On Thursday, the streaming giants added that the revenues generated by Nigerian artistes on its platform have also increased by 74 percent.

The report said, “the number of Nigerian artistes who generated more than N5 million and N10 million in royalties from Spotify alone has increased by nearly 25 per cent over the last year”.

DAVIDO CYCLING FAN REFUSES TO RETURN TO BENUE

Last week, a fan who is believed to be riding a bicycle from Benue to Lagos to see Davido refused to return home despite the monetary promise from the singer.

On Thursday, the young man announced that he had spent eight days on the road.

Reacting to the social media post, the singer stressed that he is currently not home, urging the fan to return home.

But the fan insisted on coming to Lagos to see Davido, adding he is already in Benin.

Responding again, Davido asked the cyclist to send his bank account details, maintaining he was not home.

The singer also encouraged him to embark on the journey when he returns.

Jumping on the conversation, an X user urged the young man not to send his account number but “wait in Lagos till he arrives”.

The young man, who is yet to share his account details, averred that he would wait until he sees Davido physically.

PORTABLE AND HIS ARTISTE ‘ATTACKED’ IN LEKKI

Portable, the controversial singer, was allegedly attacked in the Lekki area of Lagos last week.

In a now-viral video, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker appeared to be venting his anger inside a vehicle in the company of his team members.

The singer said he went to shop for clothes with his newly signed artiste when they were attacked.

“They have broken my boy’s eyes. It will not be well with Lekki,” Portable fumed in a mixture of Yoruba and pidgin English.

“I will deal with you if you come to Sango.”
