Davido, the award-winning Nigerian singer, will be performing at the UnitedMasters Grammy weekend concert, the organisers have said.

The concert, which is one of the festivities that precedes the 66th Grammy Awards, will take place at the Hollywood’s Palladium on February 2.

The ‘Unavailable’ singer will perform alongside Tokischa, the Dominican rapper, and Uncle Waffles, the South African artiste.

UnitedMasters, the American music distributor, announced the headliners via their Instagram page on Friday.

“We are coming back to Grammy weekend in a global way. Join us for the celebration of independence with performances by @davido, @unclewaffles_ and @tokischa.popola,” the post reads.

This year’s Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Davido earned his first-ever nomination for the prestigious awards after he bagged three categories, including ‘Best Global Album’ for his latest album, ‘Timeless’.

Others are ‘Best African Performance’ for his song ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Best Global Music Performance’ for his track ‘Feel’.

The ‘Assurance’ hitmaker released ‘Timeless’, his fourth album, on March 31.

On April 10, the album secured the 37th spot on the United States Billboard 200 chart.

‘Timeless’ surpassed one billion streams across major platforms on August 3.
