Cubana Chief Priest, the nightlife promoter, appeared to have been inactive on social media since reports of his arrest surfaced online.
Reports had surfaced on Saturday night that the socialite, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, was arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of tax fraud.
He was said to have been apprehended at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Wednesday.
The socialite was last seen publicly on Tuesday when he was caught by the camera at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, during a FIFA World Cup playoff match between Ghana and Nigeria.
Fans had expressed concerns over his whereabouts following his days-long silence on Instagram — a development which is unusual with the socialite.
Concerns about his whereabouts heightened when Cubana Chief Priest failed to return birthday wishes on March 26.
Earlier, Obi Iyiegbu, the socialite also called Obi Cubana, was arrested on allegations linking him to narcotics.
This had followed after the EFCC had similarly grilled Cubana for alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
