Femi Adebayo, the actor who announced the winner, was at the receiving end of the backlash. There was also a heated war of words between actress Dayo Amusa and Omotayo Sanusi, Adebayo’s wife.

Portable, the controversial singer, referred to Bobrisky as a “disgrace to brotherhood”.

Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the TV host, however, defended Bobrisky, saying Nigerians have no right to criticise her for winning the women’s contest.
