Dudu Heritage, the husband of Bimbo Oshin,Nollywood actress, is dead.

The socialite, whose birth name is Ola Ibironke, breathed his last on Sunday evening.

Dele Momodu, a Nigerian media mogul, confirmed the tragic news via his Instagram page on Monday.

“The gentleman on the right in white shirt was with us on Friday evening… Last night, the news of his departure hit Nigeria like thunderbolt..,” the Ovation publisher wrote.

“Bros, I saw your IG post with my Golf Capo on Saturday. I got called last night that he’s passed on. Dudu Ibironke!!!!! What a life. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace…” May the soul of DUDU “HERITAGE” IBIRONKE Rest in Peace…”

The cause of his death is however yet to be known.

Dudu Heritage was a music promoter who relocated from the United States to Nigeria to run a private business.

Oshin, his widow, started acting during her undergraduate days at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

It is understood that her friend’s sister introduced her to the group Ara Osan in 1996, at which time she started rehearsing.

Ara Osan is a theatre group owned by Rasaq Ajao, an actor. Oshin spent four years under her boss.

Although she started a movie career with English soap operas, the actress has made a name for herself in the Yoruba movie industry.

The first movie that was released which made her popular was titled ‘Akobi’ in the year 1997.
