Pere Egbi, the 2021 BBNaija housemate, has denied claims that he is dating Rashida Bello, wife of Yahaya Bello, Kogi governor.
Jackson Ude, the journalist, had recently alleged that the actor and Rashida are lovers.
In a now-deleted post, Ude had cited unverified claims that the pair have been sighted together severally at an hotel in Abuja.
“Why is #BBNaija Pere Egbi all over the place with Kogi first lady, Rashida Bello? Gist around Abuja says that they are lovers,” he had claimed.
“Egbi and Mrs Bello are said to have been sighted severally at the Hilton Hotel, Abuja. The gist is that when they first met, first lady gifted Egbi N5 million.”
But reacting in a post via his Twitter page on Tuesday, Pere described the claim as “a demonic lie and a figment of a diseased imagination” of Ude.
The film star also said he would take legal action against the journalist and those retweeting the claim.
“For the records, the publication about me and the First Lady of kogi state is a demonic lie and a figment of a diseased imagination of Jackson Ode and those retweeting that rubbish, they must answer me in court both in Nigeria and in the United States of America where he is based,” he wrote.
