Kate ‘Ka3na’ Jones, the BBNaija reality TV star, says she has joined the presidential race ahead of the 2023 election.
The reality star took to social media in the heat of Nigeria’s political season to declare her intention to run for the country’s highest office on Wednesday.
“The cat is out of the bag,” Ka3na wrote in the caption of her campaign banner with APC boldly printed on it.

However, it remains unclear what Ka3na’s intention with the announcement is as it seems she is already too late to the party.
The purchase of the APC presidential nomination forms — which is N100 million — has long been closed. The screening is already in progress, with the primary scheduled to hold on Sunday.
Vice President Yemi Osibanjo; Bola Tinubu and Ibikunle Amosun, ex-governor of Ogun, are among the political gladiators vying for the ticket.
Ka3na is a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Rivers, Nigeria. She is one of the housemates in the season five edition of the BBNaija show.
In 2020, Ka3na announced she got married to a 64-year-old British man when she was 22.
The brand influencer also revealed she had her first baby through IVF because her ex-lover was not sexually strong.
On her decision to marry someone older at the time, she had said: “In a relationship, I have to be with an older man. I don’t have time to date young guys. I need someone that can advise me.”
She would later reveal in 2022 that she had parted ways with her partner.
