On May 29, Tinubu became the 16th president of the federal republic of Nigeria.

The former Lagos governor succeeded Muhammadu Buhari after he was declared the winner of the 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

On Wednesday, Edochie took to his Instagram page to share a picture of the president.

“Nigerians have suffered so much and I believe you will wipe the tears and make Nigeria great again. Best of luck mr. president. The Jagaban.”

In 2021, Yul announced his interest to run for the presidency of Nigeria.

Prior to his presidential bid, he had contested the Anambra state governorship election in 2017 under the flag of the Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC) but lost after securing only 145 votes.
