BBNaija’s Anto Lecky speaks on weight gain, battle with health condition

Munirat Antoinette Lecky, former Big Brother Naija housemate, says her recent weight gain is due to a health condition she is battling. 

The reality TV star, who participated in the 2018 edition of BBNaija, had set tongues wagging after she shared photos of her new appearance on Twitter.

“Good morning. Go forth and change the world,” she wrote.

Some fans, however, jumped on the comment section of the tweet to express concerns over her weight — although others lavished her with compliments.

Reacting to the comments, Anto revealed that her recent weight gain is a result of “a health condition that I have been battling”.

She, however, added that she will engage in exercises to get back in shape as soon as she fully recovers.

While I like it a little, I’m still self conscious bc it was not intentional. It’s actually the side effect of a health condition that I’ve been battling. But inshallah, I will be healed soon and going to the gym 😅

“So when I was skinny, I was nothing to you people anywho, I’m working out by next month inshallah! I don’t even recognize myself,” she wrote.

“Thanks to everyone for the kind words about my weight gain.
