Speaking with his colleagues in the ongoing reality show, the 29-year-old model also said that no matter where a south-easterner travels to, it’s impossible for him to abandon his hometown.

According to White Money, a south-easterner can be living in a flat in Lagos but have mansions worth billions in the village.

He added that the net worth of an Igbo man can only be valued through the investment he has in his hometown.

“I’m hustling in Lagos, I won’t be balling in Lagos. If you want to know my worth, follow me to my village. An Igbo man can be living in a flat here but have mansions worth billions in the village,” he said.

“A real Igbo man believes in what they call home, no matter where you take me to in this life, I have to come back home, you don’t want to be in Lagos or any other part of the world hustling under the sun, then go back to your hometown again and still suffer under hot sun, that is not in the blood of an Igbo man.

“If you really want to show to your friends that you’re a true Igbo man, you won’t show them by money, you will show them by what you have done in your hometown.

“If you go down to Anambra, Enugu and some other places in the southeast, you will see what Banana Island does not have.”
