Hermes has become the second head of house (HOH) for the ongoing Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) ‘Level Up’ edition.

The reality star and model achieved the feat after winning an intensely-contested game on Monday evening.

Like the previous week, the housemates came together in two groups to play the HoH games in the arena.

The first challenge involved setting the time on multiple wristwatches correctly.

Chomzy and Khalid finished the quickest but failed to advance to the next level because some of their wristwatches failed to tell the time correctly.

Dotun, Cyph, and Hermes, however, came out as the best-performing housemates in the first challenge and were pitted against each other in the final challenge.

Hermes was thereafter declared the winner of the game.

The model and his yet-to-be chosen deputy will have the privilege to enjoy the luxury that comes with the HoH room for a week.

With the victory, he is also excluded from housemates to be nominated for possible eviction this week — that is if there will be eviction — in line with Biggie’s previous immunity arrangement for every HoH and the deputy.

Chi Chi was also announced as the tail of the house (ToH) — the title given to the worst performing housemate during the games.

Dotun is also expected to share the title of the tail with Chi Chi because he mishandled his microphone.

The winner of this year’s edition, titled ‘Level Up’, will go home with a grand prize of 100 million — the highest ever since the inception of BBNaija.
