Adebayo Adeleke, singer and cousin of Davido who’s better known as B-Red, on Wednesday extended his recording contract with HKN Music.

B-Red had in February 2013 signed to the label which was then known as HKN Gang. At the time, the label had his superstar cousin on its roster.

Although Davido would later take a walk from HKN to start Davido Music Worldwide, his brother Adewale Adeleke and B-Red stayed put.

“Delighted to announce the renewal signing of @B_RedHKN to #HKNmusic so proud of this guy! We got so much more music in store for you guys,” said Adewale, who’s better known as Chairman HKN.

B-Red inked the new deal in the presence of his manager, Justin Campbell and a lawyer for HKN.

In the four years he has been with HKN, B-Red has failed to put out an album. The sole project he released was an extended play (EP) in mid-2016.

Entitled ‘All The Way Up’, the EP contained eight songs, including six bonus tracks, which were mostly pre-released singles.

In an interview granted at the beginning of 2017, B-Red said he was not interested in “releasing any album for now”.

The singer said he wants “to keep dropping the singles and do some tours”.

His first single of 2017 ‘Fall For You’ featured Davido, whom he has collaborated with on a number of songs.

In July, B-Red released a new song ‘Finally’, with no hope of an album in sight.

Some of B-Red’s discography in the last four years include: Insane Girl ft Davido, Booty Tinz ft KaySwitch, Iwaju, Iwotago ft Phyno, Twerk, Aye Po ft Davido, Dangerous ft May D, and Cucumber ft Akon.
