Adekunle Gold, the Nigerian Afro-pop singer, has taken to social media to lavish Simi, his celebrity wife, with eulogies on her 34th birthday.
The music star shared a lovely photo of the pair on Tuesday with a rhythmic note where he reaffirmed his love for her.
In the Instagram post, Gold described Simi as his “favorite sign” while praising her for not being a boastful person.
“My angel from above. You’ve given me something special. Simi, you’re my favorite sign. It must be the reason why we align. You’re perfect and that’s facts,” he wrote.
“Pretty Pretty face and you don’t brag. Baby, take my card buy yourself a new bag. Happy Birthday Magic.”
Simi also hopped on the comment section of the post and described her husband as “the best lyricist”.
“I married the best lyricist from Ikotun to the world. I’m the winner. I love you most of all baby. Thank you.” Simi wrote.

The lovebirds tied the knot at a low-key ceremony in January 2019 and welcomed their first child — a girl — together in June 2020.
The pair are musicians.
Simi had said she will be anxious if her daughter decides to do music when she grows up.
“Whatever she wants to do, I’ll be 150 percent in support. I’ll be very honest with you. I’ll be anxious if she decides to do music, only because I don’t want her to feel any kind of pressure,” she had said in August 2021.
