Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye, the Nigerian singer, and his wife Ivy Ifeoma have welcomed their first child together.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the ‘Reason With Me’ hitmaker shared a video of his kids from his previous marriage playing with the newborn.
He expressed his joy over the childbirth describing the period as “the most joyous and overwhelming sweetest”.
“This past month and few days have been the most joyous and overwhelming sweetest ever period of our lives,” he wrote.

The singer, however, did not reveal the newborn’s name and gender.
Paul unveiled Ivy as his partner in December 2022. Their relationship stirred backlash on social media, with some users criticising him for ending his 8-year-old marriage with Anita Isama.
In May, the couple held their traditional marriage rites in Abia state.
Okoye was married to Anita in 2004. They have three children together.
In 2021, their marriage came under public scrutiny when a document believed to be a divorce petition filed by Anita surfaced online.
In July 2023, another court document surfaced, claiming she filed for divorce due to alleged infidelity.
In April, the singer slammed critics “looking for who to blame after my failed marriage”.
In January, Ivy revealed that the remarks that bothered her the most were those that referred to her as a “homewrecker.”
