Yul Edochie, the actor, on Wednesday, shared a video of Judy Austin, his second wife, addressing critics.

In late March, Yul and May, his first wife, lost Kambilichukwu, their 16-year-old son, who died in school while playing football.

Judy, however, came under criticism recently after she spoke about “God’s love for me” and the birth of Yul’s son Dike Munachimso.

Some Nigerians — including celebrities — argued that her recent video was “insensitive and unnecessary”.

Reacting to the backlash in another video shared on the actor’s Facebook page, Judy expressed her gratitude to her critics, saying “without your curses, God won’t be blessing me as much as he is blessing me now”.

She said she won’t “have gone this far” if not for the criticism.

“To the people who hate me, who curse me, who attack me without knowing anything about me, I want to say thank you, a very big thank you, because, without your curses, God won’t be blessing me as much as he is blessing me now,” she said.

“I would not have come this far in life so soon, so fast, so I am thanking you for making it your duty to lay curses on me every day.

“Yes! I have nothing against you other than love. In fact, you’re important as those who love me. Because God is turning your hate into my blessings. I pray all the insults, attacks will return to you as blessings.”
