Afro-pop singer, Yemi Alade, is set to release an EP titled Mama Afrique.

Although the Effyzie Music star’s Extended Play is a new project, it consists of old songs that have been “remade and remixed” as well as some new songs.

The singer in a statement said, “the project will include new songs, remixes and remakes of original songs” while describing it as “a continuation” of her sophomore album, Mama Africa (The Diary of an African Woman).

Alade said the EP would be released before the arrival of her third studio album which would be out later this year.

Yemi Alade recently hit 4 million Vevo views with her song Africa featuring Kenyan afro-pop band, Sauti Sol.

The singer has also just put out the French version of Ferrari, her relatively successful single.
