Wizkid is set to drop the visuals for ‘Ginger’, a track off his ‘Made in Lagos’ album featuring Burna Boy.
The singer took to his Twitter handle to tease the forthcoming video, which he said would debut on January 8.
The teaser begins with ominous sounds playing as Wizkid saunters towards a vehicle parked away in some garage.
The video comes after the singer released ‘Made In Lagos‘, his fourth album, last October while also featuring famed musicians including Tems; Tay Iwar; Skepta; British musicians; H.E.R, an American act; and Damian Marley.
Since its release, the album has continued to receive accolades, doing numbers across digital streaming platforms.
Speaking on why it took him up to three years to record his fourth album, Wizkid said: “In the last three years, there are so many things that have happened to me. I’ve been blessed with a new son.
“I’ve learned. We’ve been hit by one of the craziest things in the world which is the pandemic. All of that adds to why the album took longer. Believe it or not, there were ten different ‘Made In Lagos’ before we made this one.”
