Davido has become the first Nigerian celebrity to reach the five million followers mark on photo-sharing platform Instagram.
Wizkid trails the ‘IF’ singer with four million followers while Mavin Records head honcho Don Jazzy is third with 3.4 million followers.
Genevieve Nnaji and Psquare’s Peter Okoye are fourth and fifth respectively.
Davido has also announced the African leg of his ’30 Billion Tour’. The tour is set to commence from October 7 till December 27.
The DMW singer made this known in a post on Instagram on Tuesday.
The singer has so far announced nine cities where he will perform, with more dates to be subsequently made known.
“30BG Africa tour dates out now… more dates to be added,” he wrote.
Davido will perform in South Africa, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Guinea, Ghana, Botswana, Mozambique, Angola, and Ivory Coast.
The ‘IF’ singer toured 28 cities in June during his 30 Billion World Tour.
