Wizkid, the award-winning Nigerian singer, has teamed up with Ella Mai, the British musician, to perform ‘Piece of Me’, a track of ‘Made in Lagos’, in Los Angeles.

The singers thrilled music lovers who gathered at the fully-packed Wiltern Theatre on Saturday with a soulful rendition of the song.

The event is part of Wizkid’s 17-city tour across North America for the 2020 hit album.

At the concert, the ‘Fever’ crooner performed several of his popular songs including ‘Essence’, ‘Ojuelegba’, ‘No Lele’, and ‘True Love’.

The concert was also graced by high-profile figures including Kelvin Hart, Damson Idris, and Ben Simmons.

Since its release, ‘Made in Lagos’ has continued to enjoy widespread acceptance, with the likes of Kylie Jenner, Kevin Hart, and Saweetie dancing to songs off the mid-tempo project.

Barack Obama, the former president of the United States, had also listed ‘Essence’, one of the album’s hit tracks, among his favourites for the year 2020.

The 14-track project features international heavyweights like Damian Marley, Skepta, H.E.R. It also had Nigerian music stars such as Burna Boy, Tems, and Terri.

In August, Wizkid came through with the deluxe version of the album which features four additional songs namely ‘Anoti’, ‘Mood’, ‘Steady’ and ‘Essence Remix
