Timi Dakolo, Nigerian gospel singer, has released the visuals for ‘Take’, his highly anticipated single.
In the visuals, which was released on Friday, Timi featured Busola, his wife, and Olamide Adedeji, Nigerian rapper.
The less than four-minutes video sees the singer expressing his readiness to defy all odds to make Busola happy.
As the video progresses, the ‘Merry Christmas Darling’ crooner can be seen loosing his cool as he struggles to grapple with an outburst of emotions while his friends try to calm him down.
“I love the way you make me feel, I love the calmness that you breathe…I have found a baby of my own, the queen that I can call my own, this our love is their mate..take my heart,” he was heard singing.
Olamide also blessed the visuals with his lyrical offerings, rapping fluently in Yoruba.
Born on January 20, 1981, Dakolo has etched his name on the minds of many Nigerians for his numerous projects.
He kickstarted his music career at the age of twelve, singing in church, before joining the Purple Love as a founding member in 2003.
The group, however, did not the stand the test of time, as it was disbanded in 2005 — two years after it was founded.
The 39-year-old singer rode to spotlight shortly after emerging winner of the inaugural season of Idols West Africa in 2007.
Since then, he has continued to blaze the trail.
