TB Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has taken to the prayer mountain to ask God to heal the world of the COVID-19 crisis.

In a series of video clips shared on his Twitter handle, the clergyman can be seen sweating profusely while sprawling on rocks and camping in the bush in prayer against COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by coronavirus.

“In the name of Jesus, we present the nations of the world to you, lord. Forgive their iniquities. Forgive them their wrongs. There is a cure in the blood of Jesus,” he can be heard praying.

“Heal the world, heal them of the fear of COVID-19. You’re the great help, the very help in times of trouble. Now is the time.

“Help and rescue the world by the authority in the scriptures. COVID-19. This is your end. Lord, you have done it before. Do it again.”

The development comes a few weeks after the televangelists had made headlines for suggesting that the coronavirus pandemic would come to an end on March 27.

So far, the COVID-19 has claimed the lives of more than 210,000 people worldwide while three million cases have been recorded.

Some renowned clergymen and politicians had also suggested that the disease could be a phenomenon that had come as some sort of retribution from supernatural beings for man’s ungodly ways.
