Mr Eazi, the Afrobeats singer, has put out the animated visuals for ‘The Don’, the lead track off ‘Something Else’, his recent EP.
The less than three-minute video, which premiered on Monday, sees three dark-skinned animated characters, dressed in infants clothes, dance to the mid-tempo sound.
In April, the music star released a short film for the same track. The nearly seven minutes footage saw him play a criminal kingpin incarcerated on an island penitentiary.
‘Something Else’, the five-track project which was released in February, has continued to earn the ‘Skin Tight’ singer renewed accolades across Africa.
The body of work comes eight months after the release of ‘One Day You Will Understand’, his previous EP.
Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, pioneered Banku Music, a fusion sound he describes as a mixture of Ghana highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns. His debut mixtape ‘About to Blow’ came in 2013.
