Fiokee, Nigerian guitarist, and Raybekah, a fast-rising singer, have teamed up for the alternate version of ‘Cut Soap’, their collaborative project.

The artistes announced the release of the project, which featured Alternate Sound, a music band made of four talented instrumentalists, on Friday.

‘Cut Soap’ was released in June and since then, the project has continued to rake in huge numbers on streaming platforms.

The less than three-minute video sees the musicians crooning about people’s penchant for asking for help from those they considered to be making progress without knowing how their success came about.

“See them ah tell me say. I want the money. Spray me money…gimme me money. Oga cut soap for me, yeah. Shey if I tell you all the places wey I don go to get this soap,” the song’s lyrics read.

“Shey you go fit do am? Do you know what I know? Dem go dey tell you say “make you cut soap for them. When dem no know the whole problem. Say, why you wanna stress my life?”

In a statement to TheCable Lifestyle, the artistes said the live version of the project with Alternate Sound was to give music lovers a unique experience.

“Since it’s release in June 2021 the song has endeared into the heart of music lovers all over the world and creating the live version is one we want to put a stamp on,” it read.
