In a post via X, Obi described the death of Flavour’s dad as “an irreplaceable loss” while praying for the singer’s family.

“Today, in Enugu State, I joined the popular Nigerian musician, @2niteFlavour Chinedu Okoli and his family at the funeral celebration of their beloved father, Elder Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli. I condoled with him and his family and prayed to God to give them, and all of us, the fortitude to bear his sad and irreplaceable loss. May God who called Papa home grant him eternal rest and continue to protect, and bless the family always,” the post reads.

Chukwuemeka ‘Odumeje’ Ohanaemere, the Onitsha-based pastor; Cubana Chief Priest, the socialite; rapper Phyno; and Obi Cubana, the business mogul, also graced the star-studded ceremony.

The event opened with traditional rites performed by Flavour as he made his grand entry alongside a masquerade.
