Born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, Mohbad passed away on September 12 and was laid to rest the following day.

On September 21, the body of the 27-year-old music star was exhumed by a combined team involving the police in Lagos and health officials for autopsy.

The autopsy was carried out that same day after which the police announced that they were awaiting the results.

The circumstances surrounding his death have continued to stir up controversies on social media.

Primeboy, Naira Marley, and Sam Larry are persons of interest in the death of Mohbad.

On October 13, Adedayi Shotibi, the coroner magistrate, directed the three suspects — who had been in police custody — to appear before the court at the next adjourned date.

On Wednesday afternoon, the family members of the singers were seen in a now-viral video walking into the court premises ahead of the coroner’s inquest.

The police in Lagos earlier named Feyisola Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who injected Mohbad, as “the prime suspect” in the singer’s death.

Idowu Owohunwa, the Lagos state police commissioner, said the “auxiliary nurse administered multiple and highly potent injections which triggered an immediate reaction that eventually occasioned the death of Mohbad”.

The commissioner said the injections, consisting of tetanus toxoid, paracetamol, and ceftriaxone injection (IV) were administered at Mohbad’s residence.
