Ubi Franklin, founder of Made Men Music Group (MMMG), has narrated how his Lagos home was flooded after a heavy downpour in the early hours of Thursday.

In two video clips shared on his Instagram page, Franklin revealed that the roof of his house was blown off. The clips also showed parts of his belongings damaged by the flood.

The 34-year-old talent manager said the situation got to his notice through his personal assistant who informed him around 5:30am that the house is flooded.

“At About 5:30am I heard a knock on my door and when I came out it was my PA ‘sir the house is flooded’ everywhere was flooded,” he wrote in a short post.

“The roof came off, POP soaked and it was raining directly into one of the guest rooms upstairs and luckily.”

He, however, thanked God that nobody was hurt during the incident, including those who slept in the flooded part of the house.

“The person sleeping in the room was not hurt. stay safe guys. I was there swimming right in my house. Thank God we are all safe and no one was Hurt,” he added in a mixture of English and Pidgin.
