MTF, on December 15, graduated a group of 60 filmmakers for its 2023 edition.

The filmmakers were trained on skills in screenwriting editing, production, and directing in a one-year programme.

The students completed a three-week online course with the New York Film Academy (NYFA) on the production of documentaries, music videos, and TV commercials.

Coupled with this, the participants produced two short films for Zee World.

Some of the films have been selected for popular film festivals such as the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) and the Africa International Human Rights Film Festival (AHRFF).

MTF said two of the full-length films produced by the students are expected to be broadcast on Africa Magic channels.
