Temple Motion Pictures, the Nigerian production company, has started filming for its new family series titled ‘School of Hearts’.
According to a release on Monday, the big-budget production is currently underway in Lagos.
Idris Olorunnimbe, Group CEO of The Temple Company, said the series aims to become a unifying force within families and be remembered as a masterpiece.
“We recognise the disconnect experienced by families today compared to our own childhoods, where inclusive entertainment readily brought everyone together,” he said.
“School of Hearts marks a significant step in our mission to restore the value of film as a unifying force.
“SOH is a masterpiece that would be spoken of for a long time with nostalgia.”
Olorunnimbe added that the project is focused on showcasing fresh talent and contributing to the growth of the Nigerian film industry.
The series follows a group of young adults navigating the challenges of senior high school while pursuing their artistic passions.
The story explores their relationships with peers and family, the pressures they face, and their academic pursuits.
Themes of friendship, betrayal, and trust are woven throughout the narrative.
The series is currently under the direction of Adeola Osunkojo, Bunmi Akingbola, and Smart Edikan.
‘School of Hearts’ is expected to stream globally on a video-on-demand platform after production is completed.
Temple Motion Pictures is one of the leading production companies in Nigeria.
It is known for cinema box office hits including ‘Introducing The Kujus’, ‘The Kujus Again’, ‘Fair Hearing’, and ‘My Village People’.
