In a now-deleted Instagram post on Wednesday night, Dean, who is an American, said “it’s over” between them.

He also said, “I did my absolute best to make it work.”

“Korra Obidi and I are getting a divorce. It’s over! I won’t be treated this way longer. I did my absolute best to make it work,” he wrote.

Dean said he does not deserve the kind of treatment he has received from the entertainer despite his love for her.

“I didn’t want this. I did my best. My heartbroken. I supported her. I loved her. I don’t deserve the way I was treated,” he added.

In reaction to Dean’s public outburst, Umeh called for calm in a post on her Instagram stories.

She also assured the public that the couple is actively working towards fixing their marriage problems.

“Thank you all for checking in. You all are amazing people. It’s inevitable to go through these phases in marriage. Please take 1 minute to say a prayer for them if you can,” she wrote.

“This period is quite stretching for both of them. We were all up all day/night trying to work things out. They are both committed and I’m positive that everything will be fine in the end.”
