Sir Dee, former Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) housemate, has announced the death of Felicia Oluwanike Atteh, his mother.

The reality TV star, whose real name is Daniel Tioluwa, broke the news in a terse Instagram post on Friday.

He, however, did not reveal the circumstances that led to the death of his mother, who passed away at 61 on Wednesday.

In the touching note, the actor cum model said the world will not remain the same for him again after her demise.

“My mother is gone and my world as I know it is forever changed. There is no consolation to be had,” he wrote.

He also accompanied the post with a flyer containing a statement from his family on the passing of Atteh.

“Join us as we lay to rest the body of this spectacular soul: wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece Dr. Mrs. Felicia Oluwanike Atteh… She graced this earth from 26th of February 1960 to early hours 6th of October 2021 (61 years),” the flyer partly read.

Several Nigerians have since taken to the comment section of his post to commiserate with him.

Sir Dee participated in the 2019 edition of the BBNaija titled ‘Pepper Dem’ and won by Mercy Eke.

The reality TV star was ousted from the show alongside Esther Agunbiade, a fellow housemate, at the time.
