Putting Nigeria on the international music stage with a consistent track record, the Starboy comes in with nine nominations.

  1. Best Reggae/Dancehall single – ‘Come Closer’
  2. Best R&B/Pop album – ‘Sounds From The Other Side’
  3. Best music video ‘Come Closer’ (Daps) and ‘Malo’ (ft. Wizkid) by Tiwa Savage (Meji Alabi)
  4. Best Collabo ‘Malo’ (ft. Wizkid) by Tiwa Savage and ‘Come Closer’ (ft. Drake)

With his 2017 streak of back to back hits, it’s no surprise Davido is a top contender for the Headies Awards with six nominations.
