Stanley Omah Didia, the Nigerian singer and songwriter better known as Omah Lay, has put out the visuals for ‘Soso’, his hit single.

The less than three-minute track is the eleventh song from ‘Boy Alone’, Omah’s debut album.

Directed by Top Shotta, the video opens up with Omah Lay kneeling down while he is clad in white, bound by ropes, and surrounded by three black women.

The women are each holding on to an object which appears to be a calabash. They then proceed to rub different types of colourful paint all over Omah.

“Soso take my pain away/ Soso take my pain (mad)/ Ahn ahn/ All of the things them talk I no dey hear hear/ Try wetin I do if you no dey fear, fear/ One mind dey tell me to disappear/Soso come and help me oh ’cause I don pray,” he sings.

Omah Lay started his music career at the age of 15 and then rose to prominence after the release of ‘You’ and ‘Bad Influence’, his two hit singles.

He has continued to enjoy fame in the Nigerian music industry with several beautiful offerings.

In 2021, the ‘Understand’ crooner edged Tems, Oxlade, and Bella Shmurda to win the much-coveted ‘Next Rated’ artiste at The Headies.
