Isaac Fayose, the brother of Ayodele Fayose, former Ekiti state governor, and Samklef, the singer, have engaged in a heated war of words on social media.
The trouble started a few days ago after Isaac accused the music producer of stealing his laptop and the sum of N1.3 million 10 years ago for the purpose of traveling to the United States.
In a now-viral footage, Isaac also alleged that Samklef does not have the necessary papers since he left the country with his money and Laptop.
“You stole my laptop and my money to japa. Almost ten years, no paper to come back home,” he said in a mixture of pidgin and English.
“You are stuck in one studio apartment in America. Other producers are making money, after you, Burna Boy don come, so many people don come.
“I feel your pain Samklef. I can imagine when you are stuck in one studio apartment for so many years. Nobody tell you say make you go do refugee for Africa.
“You for don stay in Nigeria, Your career for don better but now, you are there, you are stuck. No paper to go out, no paper to do anything. You cannot work, you are just doing yahoo up and down.
“Now there is no money in your hand, you are doing blogging. Samklef return my laptop and my money, it is almost ten years. Return my money now!”

Responding via his X handle, Samklef asked Isaac to provide receipts to back his allegations. He also demanded a police report to support his claims.
