Rita Dominic, Nollywood actress, has revealed why she flaunted her relationship with Fidelis Anosike, founder of Folio Media Group, on social media last year.
In late December, the 45-year-old film star had gotten tongues wagging on social media after she shared rare loved-up photos of herself with Anosike.
Anosike is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Folio Media Group, a multimedia company that owns Daily Times Nigeria.
Dominic, who — before then — has always kept her love life private, had left her colleagues in the movie industry and fans surprised at the rarity of seeing her in a relationship.
But in a recent chat with Chude Jideonwo, the actress said her decision to show off her relationship on social media was due to her desire to please her fans.
The film star added that it was a thing of joy and she felt the urge to share the news with her followers.
“That’s the thing…it just happened. Oh my goodness Chude! Anyway…It just happened, a spur of the moment, happiness. Once in a while, you want to share certain things with people and I felt like my lovers, had been there for me for decades,” she said.
“We all had a bad year last year with COVID and we could do with some happiness.”
