Instablog9ja, an online news blogging platform, has caused a Twitter frenzy after photos of a woman said to be the handler of the Instagram-based blog surfaced online.

The blog appeared to have mistakenly gone live on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing the face of a lady who shouted “Jesus” multiple times before she hurriedly ended the session.

The development has opened the floodgates of reactions on the Nigerian Twittersphere as users who were online when the blog went live took screenshots of the lady in the video.

While a segment of users insinuated that the lady might be attacked by people the blog had published not too good stories about, others claimed it was a deliberate attempt to generate more publicity for the blog.

Naira Marley, Peruzzi and Japhet Omojuwa were among the popular figures that also took to the microblogging platform to react.

“Instablog mafo nothing go do u..all na empty threat but get bodyguard sha just incase,” Marley wrote.

“Funny how you guys think only one person handles Instablog, ever heard of something they call content creator before ? or page handler ? they’ll even have more than 3 handlers, y’all should rest and stop putting the life of an innocent woman at risk,” a Twitter user said.

“Instablog mistakenly went live on IG and it was a lady’s face. Everyday for the thief, one day for the owner,” another user said.
