After a celebrated eight-year romance, Afrobeats luminary Mr Eazi and fashion icon Temi Otedola culminated their love story in 2025 with a breathtaking, globe-trotting three-chapter wedding celebration across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.

The meticulously planned events, spanning three iconic destinations, were a masterclass in sophistication and personal significance, with an estimated cost of $15 million, TheCable Lifestyle understands.

The couple’s romance began in 2017, and after six years together, Mr Eazi proposed to Temi in April 2023. Two years later, the couple embarked on their wedding festivities, commencing with a profoundly intimate civil ceremony in Monaco on May 29, 2025.

MONACO — A PRIVATE VOW ON A SACRED DAY

Held at the Marie de Monaco town hall, the event was a private affair with just four attendees: the couple, Temi’s assistant, and Eazi’s friend. The date was a poignant tribute to what would have been the 61st birthday of Mr Eazi’s late mother Ifeoma Ajibade, who passed away in March. Temi radiated in a crisp white Wiederhoeft suit, her makeup a fresh, minimal masterpiece by Harold James, while Mr Eazi cut a regal figure in custom Louis Vuitton tailoring.

Speaking with Vogue about the choice of Monaco, Temi explained that it felt natural to begin there since the city is “a place we partly call home”.

“We’ve been engaged for three years and together for eight, so we had this weirdly calm energy all day. It just made sense. Just the two of us, in Monaco, a place we partly call home, and no distractions, no fanfare,” she said.

DUBAI — WHERE HERITAGE MEETS HIGH FASHION

The celebrations then shifted to the Otedola family’s villa in the exclusive Dubai Hills Estate on July 5, 2025, for a vibrant engagement and traditional Yoruba ceremony, reimagined with a modern aesthetic. The couple showcased five stunning looks each. Temi dazzled in a series of designs, from a Zac Posen gown to a Miss Sohee couture piece and a Lisa Folawiyo creation that incorporated akwa ocha fabric in a nod to Eazi’s heritage. Mr Eazi, styled by Jason Rembert, masterfully blended Afro-fusion ensembles that honoured tradition with contemporary flair.

The guest list read like a who’s who of African business and tech, including billionaires Aliko Dangote, Abdul Samad Rabiu, Shola Akinlade, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, and Chika Nwobi. The legendary King Sunny Ade provided the soundtrack for the evening, serenading the exclusive gathering of under 80 guests with classics from his illustrious career.

“I think we both were in the headspace of it being a day to celebrate our families and culture, but the realization of how profound it was set in as soon as we both walked out,” Temi said.

“In Nigerian traditional ceremonies you sit and dress according to the family you’re representing, but on both sides everyone was immediately teary eyed. Sitting with my parents for what is symbolically the last time before they send me to my new family particularly hit home for me.”

ICELAND — A FAIRYTALE TESTED BY FIRE AND ICE

For the grand finale on August 8, 2025, the couple journeyed to the dramatic landscapes of Iceland for a pure fairytale white wedding. At Reykjavík’s striking Hallgrímskirkja Cathedral, Temi was a vision in a custom Fendi gown, accessorised with exquisite Briony Raymond jewellery, later changing into a design by House of Giles for the reception. Mr Eazi complemented the occasion in Saint Laurent, transitioning to Alexander McQueen for the dinner.

The celebration reached new heights at the reception, where award-winning singer John Legend performed during Temi’s first dance with her husband and later with her billionaire father Femi Otedola. French virtuoso pianist Sofiane Pamart provided an elegant musical backdrop during dinner. For the after-party, Temi shone in a shimmering Ludovic de Saint Sernin ensemble, while Eazi adorned a Louis Vuitton runway vest.

The epic celebrations drew to a close with a magical farewell at the Hamsvik Hot Springs, where guests enjoyed a serene night swim under the starlit Arctic sky, bringing a perfect end to a truly legendary wedding.

Temi said she and Eazi stayed true to themselves by honouring their culture while making the ceremonies uniquely theirs.

“Eazi and I have always been unconventional,” she added.

“All throughout we honoured our rich culture but made sure everything felt like us.”

Checks by TheCable Lifestyle showed that the actress has updated her Instagram bio to include Eazi’s surname.
