The trio are fast-rising singers who are becoming household names in Nigeria and across Africa.

During an argument with trolls on Friday, Ruger boasted that he had solo hits — which appeared to be a dig at BNXN also called Buju.

“I love Buju he’s good but he’s not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only RUGER. All my hits are JUST RUGER. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?” he asked.

Ruger’s tweet provoked an avalanche of reactions on Twitter, with users registering their opinions about the singer’s braggadocio.

Joining the fray, Omah Lay accused Ruger of “chasing clouts” following his comparison with BNXN.

The singer, who just released his debut album ‘Boy Alone’, also had something to say to Victony.
