Nneka Egbuna, an internationally-acclaimed Nigerian singer, will perform at the 2017 Gidi Culture Festival.
The hip hop/soul/reggae singer will perform alongside the likes of Davido, Burna Boy, Sauti Sol, Seyi Shay, Reekado Banks, and Simi on the Gidi Culture stage.
Nneka has toured alongside a-list recording artistes such as Nas, Damian Marley, Kelly Clarkson, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna.
Her hit single ‘Heartbeat’ has been remixed and sampled several times – most notably by Chase & Status and Rita Ora.
Grammy award-winning artiste, Diplo, was recently included in the performance lineup of Gidi Fest.
Diplo is one the most in-demand music producers, having worked with Beyoncé, Usher, and Madonna, among many other music greats.
The fourth edition of the Gidi Culture Festival is themed “Gidi Culture – For the Culture”.
The one-day event coming up on April 15 seeks to facilitate the growth of the urban youth culture in Nigeria.
It will include physical and mental games for activity lovers such as volleyball and beach soccer with celebrity coaches and players.
The event will incorporate a display of carefully curated art pieces and live sketching by incredible Nigerian illustrators and upcoming artists.
Gidi Culture Festival will take place on Saturday, April 15 at Eko Atlantic.
