Nwoko, the billionaire businessman, is renowned to have many wives.

He has made the headlines on several occasions over his comments on polygamy and marriage to Regina Daniels, the actress.

The actress and the politician got married in April 2019 and welcomed Munir, who is their first child, in June 2020.

In June last year, they had their second child.

Their marriage was initially criticised by many people over the age difference between them.

In recent times, however, many of their social media followers have been showing their admiration for the union.

The admiration heightened on Thursday after Daniels said the politician sent $100,000 into her account.

Weighing into the conversations around Regina’s marriage on Friday, Ugwu said some of the ladies who are now wishing to be the politician’s wife are those who are against polygamy.

He added that most women don’t detest polygamy but hate to get married to a poor man who has multiple wives.

“Those shouting that they hate polygamy are now wishing to be Ned Nwoko’s next wife. Say the truth and nobody will beat you, what you hate is not polygamy but poor polygamists. What you abhor is not old men, but poor old men,” he wrote on Facebook.

Nwoko is the senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Delta north in the 2023 elections.

The politician has been visiting several parts of the state to canvass support for his senatorial ambition in recent weeks.
