Nwoko, in a snippet of an unreleased episode of the Mic On Podcast, said many ladies have been brought to him for marriage.

The businessman said he, however, refused to marry them because they did not meet his requirements.

Speaking on his marriage to Regina Daniels, he said he married the Nollywood actress because “we are from the same place”.

“My uncles have brought some local girls and they have been like marry this one but I said no, they do not meet what I want,” he said.

“I mean for her particularly, I married her because she is from my place. I cannot marry a woman who is not a virgin.”

Nwoko had previously opened up about his stance on polygamy.

The politician said his decision to marry more women is “only a gesture that would eventually help society”.

In 2019, Nwoko, at the age of 59, got married to Daniels, who was then 19, as his sixth wife.

His marriage to the actress fueled mixed reactions on social media as many users argued over their age difference.

Their union is blessed with two children.
