Miss Adamawa, Mildred Ehiguese, was crowned the new Miss Nigeria on Friday at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

She became the 41st Miss Nigeria having competed fiercely against 35 others.

Rita Chinedu, the Delta state representative, emerged the first runner-up while Miss Ogun, Tolulope Ayanfalu Mary, was the second runner-up.
