Miss Adamawa, Mildred Ehiguese, has been crowned the new Miss Nigeria.

She is the 41st Miss Nigeria.

Ehiguese emerged as the new queen at the beauty pageant event held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Rita Chinedu, the Delta state representative, emerged the first runner-up while Miss Ogun, Tolulope Ayanfalu Mary, was the second runner-up.

Anambra’s Chioma Stephanie Obiadi emerged victorious in the 40th edition of the pageant.

The Miss Nigeria pageant is designed to showcase positive attributes of Nigerian women and award university scholarships.

The pageant promotes a wholesome girl-next-door image, combining vintage glamour with modern elegance.
