The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled the Super Eagles theme song for the 2024 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The new track titled ‘Let’s Do It Again’ was announced via the social media pages of the Super Eagles on Saturday evening.

‘Let’s Do It Again’ is put together by Ekeh Chiaka Joseph, the Nigerian singer better known as Majeeed.

“Naija Naija make we unite/ Let’s do it again/ Naija Naija make we unite/ Naija Naija make we unite/ Let’s do it again/ Super Eagles Sabi Sabi Sabi/ We go dribble the midfielder, defender, score the goal,” Majeeed sings.

‘Let’s Do It Again’ was also released alongside its official video.

The video features clips from the Super Eagles celebration after winning the 2013 AFCON in South Africa.

The music video was directed by AbdulRasaq Babalola while Femi Dapson produced the track.

The 34th edition of the AFCON will be held in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11.

The Super Eagles are drawn in Group A alongside the hosts, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.

Nigeria will take on Equatorial Guinea in their opening game on January 14 before facing Ivory Coast four days later, after which they will play Guinea-Bissau.

The Eagles are currently camping in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), for a one-week training before flying back to Lagos on January 9. They will proceed to Ivory Coast a day later.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed that the winners of the forthcoming AFCON will get $7 million.
